On Monday, we brought you a conversation with the composer David Del Tredici. We talked about his new chamber music piece, Bullycide, which is dedicated to five young, gay men who took their own lives after being bullied.

That conversation came from an event in front of an audience at Reed College. As part of that event, we also spoke with Stan Foote, the artistic director of the Oregon Children’s Theater. For the last two years, he has worked on something called “The Bully Project,” which encourages young people to write plays about bullies and bullying.

We’re bringing you that part of the conversation today.
