Today is the deadline for initiative campaigns in Washington (as well as Oregon) to turn in signatures to qualify for the November ballot. In addition to competing measures on background checks for gun sales, Washington voters could be asked to weigh in on reducing class size and money in politics.
We’ll check in with Olympia-based OPB News reporter Austin Jenkins about which issues could end up on Washington’s ballot in the fall.
