Join us for a live interview by OPB’s Morgan Holm with Hari Sreenivasan, PBS NewsHour Correspondent and Director of Digital Partnerships, who is visiting us from Washington DC. Mr. Sreenivasan attended the University of Puget Sound and previously worked for CNET, ABC News, and CBS News.

Moebius Knitting with Cat Bordhi

If you enjoy great drama, performances and intelligent cultural conversations on OPB — and you’re an experienced knitter — we encourage you to join us for one of two special sessions with knitting phenomenon, Cat Bordhi. All proceeds benefit arts and culture programs at OPB.

Cat Bordhi is an in-demand knitting teacher and the publisher of several beloved books on her special techniques. Our workshops will explore a wide range of designs in Moebius, including how to create anything from garments and accessories to containers. After experiencing Cat’s class you’ll have new skills, a knitting project well underway, and a permanent sense of awe for the wondrous world of Moebius! Participants will receive a supply list after signing up.

Note: This class is for knitters who feel comfortable working on circular needles and are able to knit, purl, increase, decrease and bind off without supervision.

Friday, May 10 or Saturday, May 11, 9am to 3:00pm
Location: The Cleaners at Ace Hotel in Portland (403 SW 10th Ave. at Stark St.)
Cost $240 (includes a 5 hour small-class instruction, lunch and refreshments, $120 is tax-deductible)
