This month, central Oregon voters will decide on a $268 million bond for the Bend-La Pine School District. It’s a record-breaking request from the district.
A Bend-La Pine School District committee presented a report on projected enrollment to the school board last week. It does not say when the new schools should open, but predicts the years in which the district will be over capacity and where the demand will be highest.
