Designer Adam McIsaac is known for his book designs for the Portland small press Hawthorne Books. He is a master of typeface and is responsible for the photographs and the overall look of the books that Hawthorne releases. He is also the keyboardist in the jazz-funk band Spot 79. All of Adam’s talents came together at a publishing party and Art Beat was there.
