Oregon Art Beat

American Roots Music Festival

A native of Corvallis, Laura Weber, became a national fiddle champion at an early age. This became her ticket to Nashville. But when she landed a gig with the late June Carter Cash, she didn’t bank on falling in love with June and Johnny Cash’s son, John Carter Cash. Laura, along with descendants of some of the most influential families in America, perform at the American Roots Festival in Turner.
