Oregon Art Beat

Americana Project

This video is not currently available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

While arts funding is shrinking most places, the town of Sisters has a new approach to music education. The Americana Project teaches kids about America’s rich folk heritage and encourages them to write their own songs. Fifth graders are learning their first guitar chords and high school students are mustering up the courage to sing at the Sisters Folk Festival.
