Oregon Art Beat

Artist Ron Rogers

This video is not currently available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Ron Rogers made music for most of his career in Texas and Los Angeles. Now he makes striking icons of blues, R&B and jazz musicians who have passed on. They take the form of small dioramas, some shaped like caskets, that celebrate their lives, decorated with Ron’s portraits of the musicians.
