Baba Wague Diakite

African artist Baba Wague Diakite is an illustrator first and foremost, but he paints his colorful images onto cermaic tiles, plates, bowls and teapots. His colorful art is a blend of native Malian folklore and his own unique style. Inspired by his family’s storytelling tradition, he paints animals as if they are posed mid-story.
