Oregon Art Beat

Dan Kvitka

This video is not currently available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

In a process almost like throwing a pot on a potter’s wheel, Dan Kvitka makes vessels out of exotic woods. He began by turning spindles in his father’s workshop, and now uses turning and shaping equipment to bring out the patterns of rare and exotic woods.

First Broadcast: 2001
Producer: Susan Climo
