Pioneering teacher, choreographer, and performer Alito Alessi travels the world to work with “all people.”

Through his organization DanceAbility International, Alito uses mixed ability improvisational dance as the basis for creating new ways to understand dance, movement, and one another.

“Danceability is the art of being together” explains Alessi “…and then seeing what should manifest if we actually are really and honestly a reflection of society all working together.”

Dancer Kelsey performs with Karen in her wheelchair.
