Duff Severe

Oregon lost a true legend when Duff Severe died in February 2004 at the age of 84. Duff founded the now famous Severe Brothers Saddles in Pendleton. The Smithsonian honored Duff as a National Fellow “for changing saddle making from a craft to an art.” Visit Duff in his log home, filled with his amazing work; his miniature saddles with all the fine details. View this tribute to Duff Severe, one of Oregon’s finest treasures.
