Oregon Art Beat

Glass Artist Linda Ethier

This video is not currently available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Linda Ethier’s work isn’t what you’d expect from a glass artist. She’s a pioneer of a style called glass fusion. She sculpts figures out of wax which are then rendered into glass. Her work is familiar to many Portlanders from the fireplace she created in the Portland Center for the Performing Arts.
