Oregon Art Beat

Historic Carousel and Museum in Albany

In Albany, one woman decided that the historic downtown needed a brand new carousel, featuring a broad range of hand-carved, wooden animals. In doing this project, she’s built a community of craftspeople. All the work is done by volunteers, both inexperienced and masters. We’ll meet them, and see the work in progress.
