Eugene artist Kumiko Sudo’s studio is full of thousands of pieces of fabric. Selecting just the right ones, she sews quilts, collages and tapestries of folded cloth flowers. Originally from Japan, she often uses fabric that she collected from homes where kimonos were going to be thrown away.
