NW Academy

This video is not currently available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Kids appreciate the arts just like their parents, though usually not the same art. At the prompting of students, Portland’s Northwest Academy is teaching innovative after-school classes on the culture, language, music and dance of hiphop. They also recruited local rapper Mic Crenshaw to teach a class.
