Painter Amanda Blake

Amanda Blake is an artist whose biggest source of inspiration is vintage children’s books. Amanda creates paintings that allow the viewer to form a story by using imagery from classic fairytales, myths, superstitions and antique encyclopedias. Her work strives to be universal by pulling inspiration from different times and cultures, while leaving the details to the imagination. Amanda’s style mostly involves the use of oils on wood panels.
