Working with watercolors and well as pencil and charcoal drawings, artist Andrew Pate is inspired by his surroundings when he’s at home in the Columbia Gorge. He does lots of landscapes but says his heart really belongs to images of people, and he likes to sit sketching in his local coffee shop.
