Oregon Art Beat

Seaplane

Holly Stalder and Kathryn Towers created their boutique/gallery, Seaplane, as a space for one-of-a-kind, handmade clothing. Now an epicenter for Portland’s best young designers, Seaplane champions its clothes as wearable works of art. Our story features their annual fashion show, with models stutting down the catwalk in clothes that are bizarre, colorful, brazen and sometimes even tasteful.
