Oregon Art Beat

Serena Barton

She pushed her childhood artistic leanings aside to become a counselor, but Serena Barton’s artistic instincts re-emerged in middle age. After a trip to Italy, she committed to painting, and now creates works, including portraits of mothers and children, that often echo the style of Italian Rennaisance painting.
