Biathlon

OPB | Feb. 1, 1995 7:30 p.m.

Biathlete Sam Cordell takes us through a winter biathlon course, tracking his speed on cross country skis and mixing it with his ability at target shooting and marksmanship. The sport challenges the fast paced rigor of physical activity with the requirements of calm precise movements in handling a rifle. There is also a summer version of this sport, where running replaces skiing. See how this sport is gaining in popularity here in the states.
