Cutthroat Trout

This video is not currently available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Scientists don’t know why some cutthroat trout remain in their native streams, while others head out to sea, then return home to spawn. They also don’t know why the ocean-going cutthroats have been failing to return in recent years. Biologists fit the trout with radio tags to find out.
