East Side Big Pipe/Sewer

We check in on an incredible subterranean sewer construction project designed to protect the Willamette River. The East Side Big Pipe project is part of a decades long clean up project to divert stormwater and prevent sewage from overflowing into the river. See some of the planning and expertise that goes into this huge project and the cutting edge equipment used to excavate the tunnel and install the underground pipe.
