Mastodon Petroglyphs

OPB | Feb. 1, 1993 7:30 p.m.

Revisit the ice age with Oregon Field Guide to uncover prehistoric secrets about the coexistence of humans and mastodons. We search for petroglyphs in Southeastern Oregon, with supposed elephant-like figures carved into them. The trek is long, through miles of lonesome country, and with darkness quickly approaching we wonder if we’ll get to see this mastodon petroglyphs at all.
