Missoula Floods Erratics

Evidence of Ice Age flooding litters the rich farmland of the Willamette Valley. Rocks known as erratics, because they’re not the common rock of the area, are hunted by geologists. The rocks offer evidence of how flood waters and glaciers transported material across the continent.
