Primitive Living

OPB | Sept. 1, 2006 10 a.m.

This is your chance to head to the rugged terrain of central Oregon’s Glass Buttes and see what it’s like to try and live like a caveman or woman. The primitive camp out known as the Knap In is highlighted. Knapping is the term used for ancient stone working techniques. Glass butte is explored, for it’s rare obsidian. Ancient weapons are recreated and tested.
