Yew Trees/Cancer

Taxol is an anti-cancer medication with a lot of promise. It comes only from the Pacific yew tree which grows only in the Pacific Northwest. While the trees are scarce and grow extremely slowly, timber companies continue to toss the trees away when clear cutting.
