The Answer to the Cannabis Question

In today's recess conversation with Congressman DeFazio, Dave read a question from our Facebook site about whether the Congressman supported legislation by Senator Barney Frank to repeal the cannabis prohibition. Right after that, our technical director thought he heard the cue for one of the two breaks we always take in the show. In the confusion, we went to break, instead of getting the answer. It was short. He said basically that he is not familiar with that legislation, but that he has always supported Oregon's medical marijuana law.

And another tiny tweak to the end of today's show, Dave mistakenly referred to tomorrow's recess conversation with Senator Jeff Merkley — in fact, we're talking to Merkley next Friday. Tomorrow's recess conversation is with Representaitve Kurt Schrader.

As we say at times like these, TOL regrets the error. . . But while we're at it, post your questions for either Congressman now!
