I just got this email from an old friend:

I had the weirdest most stressful dream last night. That you made me host the show. Not because you were going to be away, but because you were going on a run before and didn't want to sound out of breath. We didn't really prepare, and I had notes but they had gotten wet and it was dark so I couldn't see them anyway. Before I started there was a dance troupe on the stage (there was a live audience) made up of well-dressed model-ish men that did a show tune. And then it was me. And I totally froze. I started talking about myself for a second, and someone gave me the cut-it-hand-across-neck move. I woke myself up to get out of the misery.

She added that "you had a huge body-builder type guy that did your intro, jumping onto a smoky stage." We might take her up on that one.
