Final Dress Rehearsal
If you've been following our Producer's Blog, you know we've been trying out some format changes on the show— adding more topics to the hour and other smaller changes. Our regular host Emily Harris hosted last week's experiment, and substitute host Dave Miller got his turn the week before. And I got a shot as fill-in host today — you can listen to the show we taped this morning here, and it'll play tonight during the regular rebroadcast time at 9 pm. I've been mostly behind the scenes on Think Out Loud for the last couple of years — though most of my years here at OPB were spent behind the microphone, producing and hosting the former local news magazine, "Oregon Considered."
But enough about me — the important thing is Emily Harris will be launching this new format live on the air for real this coming Monday — no more dress rehearsal! (And stay tuned for corresponding changes on our website, too!)

So, from what I have read, OPB is basically transforming THINK OUT LOUD into TALK OF THE STATE (or perhaps TALK OF OREGON).

So, are the trial episodes available as podcasts via iTunes? I hope so, because every time I download an episode of TOL via the website, iTunes tries to classify it as a "song." As a result, I have a Playlist called "Podcasts That Think They're Songs."
