As a NONNATIVE OREGONIAN perhaps I have have no right to speak and I know my opions matter little to the jingoistic natives. I think the U of O fighting ducks football program is obscene. How quickly we forget that many "student" atheletes had to be kicked off the team for drunk driving, stealing, brawling and no doubt rape too. OSU "student" atheletes are not much better.
Over 15,000 cars will be on the road this weekend due to the football game>>.thats not good for the polar bears.
For the most part the evil rich peole can afford to go to football games>>>shouldnt football tickets be taxed? we could hire more teachers to indoctrinate children and police to control those that didnt learn political correctness.
Finally football is RACIST>> many of these black athletes dont graduate, and those that do, being able to tackle someone does not add to their ability to be productive in society.
These coaches make millions a year >. while most teachers are driving a 3 year old lexus >. is this fair?? NO!!!!
Needless to say its all male and havig cheerleaders (pretty cheerleaders at that) just is a continuation of sexist attitudes that the GBLT communtiy abhores>. shameful.
