#LiveLikeRob is the twitter hashtag suggested by members of the Urban League who spoke at the service honoring the life of Rob Ingram. It was amazing to be among the thousand or more people who had all been touched by his life and work. Bishop Steven Holt with the International Fellowship Family church led the service. And everyone from Mayor Sam Adams to his children spoke about his dedication to his family and community and the inspirational way he lived his life — all grounded in a powerful Christian faith. Holt encouraged those gathered to push the stone away from our hearts and grieve, but ultimately to be moved to action by Rob, and in that way carry on his legacy.
I'm not even beginning to do this moving service justice, so I'll just end by sharing that for me personally, the question I was left with for myself was, "Am I doing everything I can do to make a difference in the world?"
