Quiet Off-Roading

Noise came up as a big issue in today's show; how much the roar of ATV motors bothers hikers, and whether amping your engine is one thrill of the ride. One caller mentioned new mufflers that can tone down a gas engine, and we couldn't get to Spencer's call about electric trail bikes. They are making appearances around the West. Perhaps one will sneak up on you some day!

With so much room in the forest that walkers,hikers,cyclist have that if they want to be near the motorised ohvs than they should expect a bit of noise, they have the choice to do their exploration in areas that are for them.so many ohv users being cramened into a small place will undoughtedly cause more harm than good. any way when was the last time the enviromentalist was up with the ohv users cleaning up the trash left behind from non users of ohvs.they just cant seem to get it. they are a do as I say and not as I do crowd.
