On The Road Again
We're back in Portland now after a great trip to Newport for our show on wave energy. Thank you to everyone who helped make that show possible (especially the folks at the Hatfield Marine Science Center). We spent some time at the Rogue Ale House after the show — did you know they make malt liquor? — as you can see below.
Now we're starting to wonder where we should go next. South to Albany or Eugene? Further to Klamath Falls? North to Vancouver? Or to Burns, John Day, or Ontario?
We'd love your input. Where do you think we should visit next, and why? What are the hot topics in your hometown that you think the rest of the state should be aware of?

Thank you, Tony. Healthcare is no doubt a huge issue today and we're trying to find the best ways to cover it. We'll certainly give this idea some serious consideration.

This might not be enough advanced notice, but according to this:

Senator Wyden will be in Eastern Oregon on June 27 and 28 during a period where his Healthy Americans Act is receiving more attention than it ever has before, both nationally:

If you're nimble, you could cover Wyden's townhall meeting, perhaps in combination with something specific for your show. It's been six months since you've done anything on health care:

and a lot has changed both nationally and in Oregon. Strike while the iron is hot ! :-)
