A Tale of Two Comments

Two contrasting excerpts from the comment thread get to the crux of today's show about Arizona's immigration law.

From sweetlavababe:

My father Manolo came to the U.S legally, I am a first generation legal American born in Maryland and am very proud of this. My father says he is Hispanic by birth, American by choice. My father and I and ALL of our family will be more then happy to show this pride by carrying any documentation necessary. Take me in I am proud to do so.

And from amocolor:

I am a person of color and not Hispanic, but I refuse to visit Arizona while that law is in effect, and am so disappointed that Oregonians would even consider a law in which I would have to carry around all of my documentation--especially since I have been a citizen since birth.
