“It’s the technology, see? We can’t get away from it. Anywhere you find people, you find it.” This is how Daniel H. Wilson‘s latest thriller, Amped, explores technology in the modern age.

Main character Owen Gray’s reality is a divide between humans and a group of people that gained the upper hand after the development of a brain implant to stimulate mental and physical tasks.

Wilson, who also authorored the New York Times best seller Robopocalypse, describes a superhuman race in his newest book. In this animated interview, Wilson talks about the storyline and ideas in Amped.

Have you read Amped? What questions do you have for Daniel H. Wilson? How do you think technology will impact the world in the future?
