OPB | June 11, 2012 9:45 a.m. | Updated: Sept. 10, 2013 11:36 p.m.

Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference kicks off today. Apple users are eager to find out what new products and upgrades will be presented. Apple is expected to release its new operating system, Mountain Lion, a new map application, and iPhone upgrades.

The five-day conference showcases new Apple products and tech trends. It also allows developers to handle the new technologies and start developing apps for them. Facetime, iPhoto, and Mac Pro, are just a few of the innovations Apple has released at past development conferences

Google and Microsoft will also host developer conferences in the next three weeks. All three will have a heavy emphasis on smart phone and tablet technologies.

What new technologies are you excited about?
