The Clean Water Act is turning 40 and it’s bringing Ecotrope, Earthfix, and InvestigateWest together to look back at the legislation and explore the impact it has had. Robert McClure is the co-founder and executive director of InvestigateWest and he’ll join us on this show to talk about the partnership and the coverage they’re planing to roll out over the next little while. McClure has been covering the Clean Water Act for over 20 years so if there is one guy who really knows what it means — it is him.

Recently McClure wrote an article asking what if the Clean Water Act is keeping water in the Northwest clean. In it he says that 86 percent of people here are still somewhat or very concerned about water quality protection. In this conversation we’ll find out why.

What questions do you have for Robert McClure? What do you want to know about the Clean Water Act? Are you concerned about the condition of local water?
