In our bi-monthly Capitol shows, we’ve covered a wide range of issues from drunk driving checkpoints to freedom of expression and, of course, the perennial proposals to change the kicker. Some of these bills are moving forward and some appear to be stalled in committee. We’ll check in with two political reporters to find out what’s what.
We’ll continue our Capital People feature, introducing you to people other than legislators who make the Capitol tick. This time, it’s Eric Simpson, who works in custodial services. He gets to work before 3am every day to make sure the building is clean before legislators (or certain radio producers) even get out of bed!
Are you in high school right now? Are your kids? How would additional graduation requirements affect you? What bills have you been following this session? What would you like to ask a guy who cleans up after lawmakers?
