Third Presidential Debate

OPB | Oct. 23, 2012 12:25 p.m. | Updated: Sept. 11, 2013 12:10 a.m.

President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Governor Mitt Romney were at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida Monday night for their third and final debate. This debate followed the same format as the first one, with a different moderator and a different focus.

Face the Nation host Bob Schieffer questioned the candidates on issues related to foreign policy. Focus quickly shifted away from Libya, the subject of Sheieffer’s first question, to America’s relationship with Israel and the best way to handle Iran’s nuclear ambitions. There was a surprising amount of agreement between the candidates on foreign policy, but the two men also highlighted their differences on domestic issues.

Did you be watch the last presidential debate of 2012? What were you hoping to hear? Did this event help you decide how to vote?
