On Monday, June 17th NASA announced its newest astronaut candidates. Anne C. McClain of Spokane, Washington is one of the four women chosen to be part of the class of 2013.

Over the next two years, McClain and her colleagues will learn to speak Russian and prepare themselves for missions to Mars, asteroids, and the International Space Station.

We’ll hear from McClain about how she’s preparing for her journey to space.

Do you have questions about the future of the space program? What would you like to ask someone who is preparing to be an astronaut?
