Thousands of pages of documents that allege sexual abuse by those involved in the Boy Scout of America organization were released Thursday. The release of the documents stems from a sexual abuse case brought against the organization. Subsequently, media organizations — including OPB — sued for the right to access to documents in the case, the so-called perversion files. The release has been delayed to give the Boy Scouts of America time to redact the names of those who brought allegations of abuse in order to protect their privacy.
