At the end of October, longtime nationally syndicated political cartoonist Jack Ohman announced he would be leaving The Oregonian for The Sacramento Bee.

Ohman is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota. He was first hired at The Oregonian in 1983 when he was just 23 years old. In the time since has written and illustrated several books, in addition to penning thousands of editorial cartoons.

He told The Portland Mercury one of the reasons he decided to take the job in Sacramento was to help out the family of his friend, Rex Babin. Babin was the editorial cartoonist at the Bee, who died earlier this year at the age of 49.

Do you have a favorite Ohman cartoon? What effect do you think he's had on politics? What would you like to ask him?
