Occupy Portland hasn't had quite the same presence on the streets as it had a couple of months ago. Yet the group continues to protest, meet, and plan. On Wednesday, what began as a relatively small demonstration to support the Egyptian revolution actually ended up with four people arrested and quite a bit of police presense. But much of the rest of what Occupy has been doing has been less public. They have new office space at St. Francis of Assisi in southeast Portland and are running organized meetings there on almost a daily basis. They have a couple detailed websites and have plans to demonstrate at the start of the legislative session on Feburary 1st.
If you've been involved in Occupy protests, what are your plans for the near future? What would you like to see happen in this (short) legislative session? What are your priorities? And what role does demonstrating have in those?
