Oregon Art Beat is well known for profiling artisans around the state. And they're ready to kick off the new season this week! The team just returned from a week-long trip through Southern Oregon where they prepped a number of shows for the season ahead. The season kicks off from the Ashland Art Center and, among other things, explores the life of an award-winning animator who lives in Elkton.

Later in the season Oregon Art Beat will go to the circus and air a special on the divas of jazz. You can watch the new season of Art Beat Thursdays at 8 p.m. beginning this week. And there's always more arts content online at OPB's Arts & Life.
