The Bridgetown Comedy Festival took place this weekend. Last Friday, we recorded an hour-long conversation with local comics Ian Karmel, Stacey Hallal, and Nathan Brannon about the festival, getting started in comedy, and the role of humor during tragedies.
Today we'll play an excerpt from that conversation on how these comics began their careers.
Did you go to Bridgetown? Which local comedians did you see? What do you think of Portland's comedy scene?
