Supreme Court Cases
It's a busy time at the U.S. Supreme Court. Justices ruled this week in a case that could allow convicted criminals to reopen their cases if they say that they didn't get effective legal counsel concerning their plea bargain. They also heard arguments concerning survivor benefits of children conceived after their father had died. And next week the court considers a case that Washington D.C. — and the rest of the country — has been anticipating for months: the challenge to the Affordable Health Care Act.
