Terrorism Suspect Reaz Qadir Khan Released On Bail
Reaz Qadir Khan is accused of providing material support for a 2009 bombing in Pakistan. He's an employee of the City of Portland's Department of Environmental Services. He was arrested Tuesday at his Portland home. On Thursday, prosecutors argued he should be held without bail. But the judge agreed with the defense that Khan, who has a wife and three children at home, was not a flight risk. Mayor Charlie Hales told OPB Wednesday that Khan would be put on paid administrative leave until the trial.
