If you're a music fan, you have a smorgasbord of shows to choose from in Portland and Eugene this weekend. Portland band Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside plays their biggest headlining show yet at the Wonder Ballroom on Friday night. In Eugene that same night, native son David Jacobs-Strain will take the stage at Sam Bond's Garage. Also competing for music fans' attention on Friday is country singer/songwriter Elizabeth Cook and acoustic trio The Devil Makes Three.
Music isn't just for grownups of course. Eugene's Magical Moombah troupe strives to entice little ears with traditional American folk songs (and their shows are early so parents will still have time to tune in to the Ducks game on Saturday).
