The snow level has fallen in the past few weeks, and the ski areas are opening. If you're looking to get out this weekend, the Mt. Hood ski resorts are running close to full capacity, and Mt. Bachelor will have a few runs available. If you're not looking to ski downhill, Timberline also has some trails available for cross country skiers and snowshoers. The sun should be out, so the views promise to be spectacular.
If you're looking for something to do in Portland, Mississippi Studios is hosting Typhoon, and Star Theater has the MarchFourth Marching Band. Plus the Hollywood Theater is doing an Oregon B-Movie Festival, and the Woods is throwing an All-Night Dance Party.
